By Dudu Shaba

Integr8 FAX has released FaxM8, a facility aimed at improving the efficiency of ICT infrastructure within the business, government and education sectors.

Walter Bredell, sales manager at Integr8 FAX says that the FaxM8, a free fax-to-email facility.

He says that the facility is freely available to anyone with an e-mail address.

Bredell says the initiative is the company’s contribution towards addressing the need for reliable, low cost, low maintenance and sustainable communications infrastructure across a number of vertical and horizontal markets.

“A user simply faxes a document to the fax-to-e-mail number, issued upon registration for the service, and this fax is sent through to the mail server at Integr8 IT.

“The server automatically converts the paper document into a Tiff file and this is then sent through as an e-mail to the intended recipient. It is a fast, secure and effective process,” he explains.

Bredell says that the service is licensed through Telkom and this allows Integr8 FAX to offer a lower flat rate for sending faxes.

He goes on to say that the management at Integr8 FAX has also developed a go-to-market strategy for FaxM8 based on the offer to clients to become service resellers or agents.

Robert Sussman, joint MD at Integr8 IT says that additional benefits offered through the company and FaxM8 include free setup, installation, training and support adding that there is also no charge for incoming faxes.

“Other benefits that make a solution like this viable include the fact that faxes received via e-mail can be accessed from anywhere in the world as well as an increase in productivity because there is no risk of faxes going missing or landing up in the wrong hands,” he concludes.
